Journal of South China Agricultural University is a comprehensive academic journal of agricultural science sponsored by South China Agricultural University. It is published bimonthly, and publicly distributed at home and abroad. This journal is open to domestic and foreign manuscripts, and the manuscript content must be original research results generated by projects funded by national or provincial (ministerial) funds (including doctoral funds) within the scope of this journal. The review only accepts special draft.
1 Scope of publication
This journal mainly publishes research papers and literature reviews in subjects of animal and plant genetics and breeding, crop cultivation, plant protection, animal science and animal medicine, aquatic science, biology, soil science, agricultural ecology and environmental science, horticulture, food science, agricultural mechanical engineering, agricultural applied chemistry, agricultural information and electrical engineering.
2 No review fee is charged, and higher remuneration is offered for excellent manuscripts
No review fee will be charged for submissions. Manuscripts that do not meet the scope of this journal's publication will not enter the review process and will be rejected directly. If the manuscript is accepted after the "third review", a publication fee will be charged (1,000 yuan per article). The remuneration is 500 yuan/article. Some manuscripts with excellent review evaluations and frontier topics will be exempted from publication fees, and higher remuneration is offered for excellent manuscripts.
3 Manuscript requirements
3.1 This journal has adopted a review system, and all manuscripts are processed online. For submissions, please log in to the journal’s website to register. Authors must refer to the "Solicitation Notice, Paper Format and Writing Guidelines" in the "Author Guide" on the website of this journal before submitting a manuscript, and check the references in the system before uploading the manuscript. 3.2 This journal has been listed as a fixed source by more than 40 domestic and foreign databases or abstract magazines with the abstract or the full text being indexed. Journal of South China Agricultural University uses the "CC BY-NC: Attribution (BY)-Non-Commercial Use (NC)" agreement in the Creative Commons license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/), allowing third parties to reproduce, distribute, exhibit, compile, and disseminate articles published in this journal, but must retain the original author's signature and only for non-commercial purposes. Authors who submit papers to this journal are deemed to agree to transfer the copyright of the paper to the Journal of South China Agricultural University, including reproduction rights, distribution rights, dissemination rights, translation rights, compilation rights, etc., after the paper is accepted. After the paper is published, the author has the authorship of the article, and the author can still use and share the article under the license of the intellectual property agreement (CC BY-NC 4.0).
3.3 Please do not submit one manuscript to multiple journals at the same time, and the responsibility of the manuscript is at your own risk. The journal rejects multiple submissions for one manuscript and academic misconduct, and the citation repetition rate cannot exceed 20%. Whether the manuscript is published or not will be reviewed and approved by the editor-in-chief of this journal. The editorial department reserves the right to make technical and textual revisions to the manuscript. If the manuscript has not received an acceptance notice within three months from the date of receipt, the author may submit to another journal. After the manuscript is published, the author will be paid a one-time payment (including other possible remuneration) according to the relevant national regulations, and will receive sample journal.
